Lindsey, Jesse, Bentley and Bauer: OuR biG DaY

Bentley had her bags packed and ready to go! She spent the time we were in the hospital at Grandma Shauna's. Her favorite thing was filling up the water balloons with Brookie and popping them on the tramp.

Here we are just waiting for the surgery!

That's a ten-pounder in there, folks!

Jess gettin' ready for the c-section. The first thing they gave him to wear was hillarious. It was a one piece XXL and it did NOT fit. So he got scrubs, instead. Mcdreamy!!

When we in surgery, the first thing the doctors said was, look at all that hair!! I couldn't believe it.. I've been telling Bentley that he'll be bald. She was bald, I was bald, Jess had a little hair, but I just never thought I'd have a baby with any hair. So I was excited about that. The next thing was, "he's big!" They said that about Bentley, too, so I wasn't sure how big to expect. When the nurse weighed him, she said, "oh my goodness, he's 9.15 ounces!" A doctor helping with the surgery said, "he peed on me on the way out-that's an ounce-let's call it an even ten!"

Here's the big sister! I feel so bad right now. Her little world is in crisis. She seemed fine today, so we'll see how things go... It's looking like she's bonding with her daddy and that's been helping. She would come to visit in the hospital and start acting out. First, she was kicking my Grandma Donna, and the next day she was pinching her. She also pinched Bauer. I really hope she knows how much she's loved, and that this all passes quickly.
